Common Job Test ( CJT), a standardised employment examination is now offering the city youth an opportunity to get recruited through a test that includes a CJT written exam and an interview that will be conducted at the designated CJT testing centre.

The scores are then compared with other candidates and those making it to the top 10 percentile are deemed CJTains. The qualified students will be eligible to be interviewed with companies. Also, any graduate or postgraduate, looking for management jobs can register for the CJT.

While addressing the media persons on Wednesday, Govind Wakhlu, founder and director, CJT, said that their motto was to bridge the gap between premium jobs available in the market and the right candidates.

He said, “Why can’t we make a fair and merit- based porta to find a great job, irrespective of t he j obseeker’s l ocation? The equality exists in college admissions across the world then why not in jobs? CJT aims to ensure the above- mentioned concerns.”

Wakhlu added, “A si ngle standardised, fair examination process, which if qualified results in 10- 15 management j ob i nt e r vi ews e ach month with salaries above 3 lakh per annum.”

On asking, whether there is a shortage of respectable amount earning job in the city. Wakhlu said, “There are jobs which pay high salaries but due to huge information asymmetry everyone does not have access to them. Our endeavour is to provide an opportunity to the top quality, deserving candidates, who couldn’t get such jobs either because they did not sit for placements, or due to the remote location of their colleges.”
